I’m 58 years old. For almost three decades I’ve been happily married to a lovely lady who is my best friend. We have five kids, two of which are married and out in the real world. The other three are seniors in high school.
I worked as a physician for over a quarter of a century. I enjoyed many aspects of medicine, but the practice has changed quite a lot during the time I worked. I really haven’t missed it since I retired.
Great literature has held a special place in my heart since I was a little kid. I read voraciously. My wife and I are old-school in that we prefer real books, with paper pages, to e-books. Over the years we’ve amassed a library of many hundreds of books.
When I was younger, I wrote quite a bit. Then came Medicine, family, kids. Before I knew it, I was in my fifties. It was time to do something new. In July 2017, I completed the first draft of a young-adult novel titled Beautiful.
